WHERE YOU'LL STAY: IU HOUSE
Most visitors and program participants join us at the IU House, a compound of 12 buildings in Eldoret, Kenya. The IU House has a full staff to attend to the needs of all visitors, and there’s a palpable sense of community everywhere you turn.
Safety
The IU House is protected by two gates, guarded 24 hours a day.
Dining
Meals are prepared for guests paying full fees, who enjoy them together in our dining room. Guests also have access to a pantry.
Attractions
Eldoret is a principal Kenyan city, with plenty of restaurants and night life, as well as the essential grocery stores, banks, and more.
Community
Long-term and short-term participants staying at IU House get to know the AMPATH family at meals, weekly “fire-side chats”, and celebrations.
