US Ambassador meets Moi and AMPATH leadership

This month US Ambassador to Kenya, Bob Godec, met with Moi University, Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital and AMPATH leadership. The group discussed AMPATH’s Maji Safi (safe water) project and presented the household water filter system and the drilling rig used to drill boreholes. The Moi and AMPATH leadership spoke to the ambassador about the progress made to improve the health and well-being of those in the AMPATH catchment area and the significant role the US government has played in achieving that progress.
